Hi there LiteTravellers, we are back with an exciting update today.
A few of you asked when you’ll receive the survey for your SMOL reward details. Don’t worry, you haven’t missed anything yet! :) We’ve set up your BackerKit surveys and we're getting ready to push the "Send" button.
In case you missed our previous update, please make sure to give it a quick read especially if this is your first time filling in a BackerKit survey.

Important: Survey Deadline is June 5th
You will have until June 5th, 2020 to fill your surveys out with your reward and add-on selection, plus review your full shipping details.
Please make sure to fill out your surveys before this date, so we can ensure the timely delivery of your SMOL.
Why is this important? We need to finalise all the counts so we can start ordering the materials and start production of SMOL. We rely on the items you choose in your surveys, so we’re counting on your help to make and deliver your rewards as soon as possible.
When do I receive my BackerKit Survey?
Contribution IDs 1 to 892: you will likely receive your surveys later today. Please check out the info below (Round 1, Round 2 and the rest of the update). You must fill in your surveys before the June 5th deadline!
Contribution IDs 893 and up: you will receive your surveys 10 days after placing your contribution on Indiegogo, as per the platform’s terms. Please fill in your surveys as promptly as you can and if possible before the June 5th deadline.
Round 1: We will first send out what’s called a “Smoke Test”. This means that 5% of all backers will receive their surveys first - we anticipate this will happen in the next hours. The 5% are randomly chosen and it’s a simple way for us to catch any possible errors in your surveys and make sure everything runs smoothly before we send it out to everyone.
Round 2: We are aiming to send out all surveys a few hours after the Smoke Test.
In case we need to tweak something in your survey, we might need to postpone it so it's best you keep an eye on your inbox so you don’t miss the notification. Due to the high number of emails that need to be sent out, the BackerKit platform automatically sends them out in batches. We appreciate your patience and understanding while you wait for yours. :)
Important: your BackerKit Survey will be sent to the email address you used for your SMOL pledge on Indiegogo. If you’re unsure what email address you used, please log into your Indiegogo account, click on your Profile Picture and go to Settings -> Email Address.
If you don’t receive your survey by May 29th, 12PM EDT (New York time), please retrieve your survey by clicking here: https://smol-indiegogo.backerkit.com This is where you’ll be able to fill in your email address and have it sent once more to your inbox. Use the same email address as the one you provided on Indiegogo.

New Backers
To contributions placed after June 1st, the estimated delivery date for your SMOL reward will be August 2020, as shown on our campaign page.
The change of the delivery timeline will show across all contributions, but it only affects contributions received after June 1st and not the previous and existing contributions!

Hi there LiteTravellers, we are back with another update because we are preparing to send your BackerKit surveys in a few days.In it, you’ll be able to share with us your SMOL reward details like your preferred gender size and colour mix, plus make sure your shipping details are correct and complete.
It’s important you make sure to read this update fully because it explains everything you need to know about filling in your BackerKit survey.
How Does BackerKit Work?
The initial perk you selected is assigned to your order by default. If you have add-ons on Indiegogo, you will have credit in your survey to re-select them. You MUST re-select these in order to receive your add-ons! We did this so you can fill in only 1 survey.
If you pledged for more than one reward on Indiegogo with the same email address, you will have two or more surveys to fill out. Toggle between them from the confirmation page, after you submit your first survey. Look for a yellow bar that says "You have multiple surveys for this project" and click it. You'll see and review all your surveys from the drop-down menu.
These are the steps you need to complete for your survey:
Welcome screen: Confirm your shipping country so the shipping cost is correctly deducted from your pledge. Click “Get Started”.
1. Questions: Choose the details for your chosen reward on Indiegogo. This will only assign the colour, gender and size to the first SMOL you chose.
2. Add-Ons: Use your remaining credit to select the SMOL add-ons you want and select the gender, size and colour for them.
You can add as much as you want to your order, no matter the value of your remaining credit. If the add-ons you want exceed the limit of your displayed credit, BackerKit will first use up all your available credit, then you’ll just pay the difference.
3. Shipping: Review your full shipping details:
You must include a valid phone number.
If possible, please provide a physical address with street name and number for your delivery, as most couriers don’t deliver to APO/FPO or P.O. box addresses.
Your shipping details must be written in standard English alphabet letters and numbers. Special characters like ß, ä, ć, Ø, Å or Japanese kanji, Thai letters etc. are not accepted by the shipping system.
The most important details to complete in your survey are the exact items you want to have included in your order.
4. Confirm: Fill in your payment details (if needed), review your order’s details and click “Place My Order”

Hi there LiteTravellers,
We are back with another update that we believe you’re going to love.
First, we’d like to welcome our new backers to the SMOL community and extend a heartfelt “Thank You” for your trust and support.
Golden Samples Production
We are happy to let you know that the production of the golden samples is underway.
In case this is the first time you are hearing about this, golden samples are the final samples that the factory produces before moving on to mass production. The golden samples have to be absolutely perfect in every detail because they set the standard the factory must follow for all mass-produced rewards.
We’ve received the fabrics needed for SMOL and the factory is working on the first pre-production samples right now. In a few days, we will check and confirm these samples to make sure that all details for SMOL are followed with precision. This is an important step, to make sure we set a great standard for the mass-produced rewards. After these samples are approved, the factory will then create the digitised patterns and proceed with the production of the golden samples.
We included below a few pictures taken from the production line. As soon as the golden samples are finalised, we will share them with you, so make sure to keep an eye out for that.
BackerKit Surveys
In the next update, we’ll also share with you more details about the BackerKit survey, in which you’ll choose your SMOL reward preferences like your size, gender, and preferred colour mix. We’re working on setting that up right now, so your survey is coming soon!

If you are new to the LiteTravel backer community, we are very excited to welcome you and very grateful for your support.
Production Kicks Off
We are happy to let you know that we are preparing to kick off the SMOL production for our Kickstarter campaign. We are getting ready to order the needed materials such as fabrics, zippers and more, so we can start manufacturing as soon as possible.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more insight into our progress so you are always aware of what happens behind the scenes.
BackerKit Survey
We know you might be wondering when you’ll select the size and colour you want for your SMOL.
BackerKit is the pledge management platform that we’ll be using. Through your BackerKit surveys, you can share with us your SMOL reward details like the SMOL gender, size and prefered colour mix, as well as your full shipping details.
We aim to send out the first batch of BackerKit surveys next month.
You will receive your BackerKit survey through the same email address that you used for your SMOL contribution.
If this is your first time to learn about BackerKit, don’t sweat it too much. We will make sure to post an update with a complete guide on how to fill your survey out in minutes.
